At Rachel Kline Marketing & Creative, we bring big ideas to life! It's our goal help our clients establish a web presence and a voice that authentically represents your business and your mission. We work to create content that captivates your audience and captures what makes your business unique with beautiful images, professional branding and thoughtful wording that speaks to your style.
Beginnings
My name is Rachel Kline, marketing professional, writer, blogger and mother. I founded Rachel Kline Marketing & Creative in 2014, offering only social media marketing services, but I quickly realized many of my clients needed more than social media to reach the right customers - they needed new websites, photos and branding. I began taking online classes to learn the ins and outs of website design. It wasn't long before I started creating custom websites and with my background in content creation and writing, I loved the opportunity to tell my clients stories with more than just words.
By 2019 I knew it was time to expand my team in order to better serve my clients. With the addition of Susan Mariscal and Bethany Ballantyne, I was able to bring photography and graphic design in-house, offering a complete brand experience.

We never sacrifice quality for quantity. By maintaining a small client list, our social media accounts and web design projects always receive the personalized attention they deserve.
Integrity
Our clients will always get our best work and nothing less. We pride ourselves on honesty in our pricing and our turnaround time. Have questions, just ask!
Personalization
Automation tools will never be used to replace personalized content, but only to complement existing social content and recycle evergreen content. We never duplicate content from one account to another and when it comes to websites, no two are alike.
Communication
We value ongoing communication between our clients and our team. It's our goal to educate and empower our clients in the areas of social media and marketing whenever possible.

My name is Rachel Kline, small business owner, wife, and mama to three little ones. I love when things are organized and I think that's why I love taking people's ideas, services, business goals and making sense of them in visual form - as a website! I believe that your website and social media presence should be an authentic representation of you and your business and it's my goal to help clients achieve just that.
My professional background...
I received a BA in communications and journalism from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2011 and got my start with social media as an intern, creating Twitter content for clients at a pharmaceutical marketing agency. I fell in love with social media marketing, but it wasn't until 2014 that I began freelancing and taking on clients of my own.
While freelancing, I began copy writing for a local web design company. I quickly learned the ins and outs of website design and project management and it wasn't long before I was hired by a social media client to create a new website for their business. By 2018 I'd designed 30+ websites and counting.
I started noticing a pattern with my web design clients. Most needed help with branding too, and almost all needed professional photography or video. I felt like I was regularly referring clients to graphic designers for logos or photographers for product images etc. This was frequently delaying projects and with my background in project management I wanted to streamline the process. In 2019 I decided to expand the RKC team to bring all aspects of branding, photography, video and graphic design in-house.
The fun stuff!
In addition to RKC, I host a podcast for small biz owners and I love it! It's so fun to meet new guests each week and to hear their success stories.
I am a huge Jenna Kutcher fan and I love to listen to podcasts. Some of my favorites include The Goaldigger Podcast, The Bellas Podcast and Weekly Dose of BS with Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman.
My guilty pleasure... actualy I'll own it... My not so guilty pleasure is definitely reality TV. (Specifically, Bravo's Real Housewives)
I have three little trouble makers at home that I love dearly and a hubby that pushes me to be a better person every day.
My mom used to be my worst enemy in high school but now she's one of my best friends. I have a passion for mentoring teens and young 20 something yr old girls going through those "rebellious" years, because well, I was one of them.

I’m Susan Mariscal and I love all things whimsy! Born and raised in The Land of Eternal Spring {AKA Guatemala}, I've been joyfully married for 9yrs going on 10 {Wait! What?, how did this even happen?!}, I speak Español & English and understand some Japanese; for reasons, I’m embarrassed to admit *laughs.* Fun fact! these days I’m 45% Storyteller, 40% Webtrovert and 5% Sweets. I'm a full-time creative entrepreneur, always seeking pockets of light in the mundane of everyday life.
The technical stuff...
IN THE PAST
I’ve worked as a passionate and joyful graphic designer for the past 10+ years, creating click-worthy, user-friendly, front end digital design for both large and small businesses in Guatemala City as head of the Graphic Department, and one year in PA as an Interactive Graphic Designer. I am a problem-solver, I pay great attention to detail and was born and raised in Guatemala so I am bi-lingual.
IN THE PRESENT
Nowadays you can find me working with the fabulous Rachel Creative and sailing an adventure to entrepreneurship, building my micro-business A Second of Whimsey; following the calling in my heart to inspirit women to “break free--to live their someday today." I'm always tinkering with something, and my absolutely favorite: moving-photography!

Hi, I'm Bethany Ballantyne!
I've been a photographer for 6 years (11 if you count those first few cringe-worthy years in high school)! I LOVE capturing stories and emotions. I’m also a stay at home mama to two sweet, crazy kiddos. My husband asked me once if I ever wanted to work a 9-5 job, and the answer was a big “NO." I love that the career path I’ve chosen gives me the flexibility and freedom to stay home with my kids while working as it best suits our family’s schedule!
How it all started...
I got a dinosaur of a camera when I was 15, and I fell in love with life behind my lens. I went to college at the University of Valley Forge to earn a degree in Digital Media/ Video production, and have spent the last 6 years not only taking photos for some amazing clients and businesses, but also creating stunning wedding videos with my husband! We have traveled up and down the East Coast to shoot weddings but now that we have a family of our own we enjoy that working with small businesses here in Lancaster means less weekends away.
When I'm not behind the camera...
If I’m not working or at home with my family, you can find me sipping a latte at a local coffee shop, thrifting, or perusing the aisles at target.
